Horns & Hocks Corrientes is a partnership composed of Ronnie Ogle, Joe Bob Smith and Kevin Ogle, who disenchanted with the traditional beef cow market disposed of all their crossbred cow operation and re-tooled with approximately 900 commercial and registered Corriente cows from New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado, Missouri and Texas. When we decided to pursue the recreational livestock business, we consulted with Dusty Ray of Roy, New Mexico, Jack and Jenny Cates of Wagon Mound, New Mexico, Mel Gnatkowski of Carrizozo, New Mexico, Darrell Huston of Cuervo, New Mexico, Dale Buks of Willard, Missouri, Jeff Nourse of Las Vegas, New Mexico and many others who had been in the business of raising top notch cattle since before the inception of the North American Corriente Association.
