Corrientes are the first choice for roping and bull dogging because their moderate build and horn size, and they are easy to care for. They are not a mean breed that will come after you and they will leave the chute straight and fast. Their horns don't grow too fast and they have a solid base on their horns that, with proper wraps can withstand repeated roping.
