5/28 – NRS #11

Last night’s roping was on the light side with 62 teams. Alfonso Gonzalez and Kirk Bearden won the average with 28.5 seconds on three head. Almost a full 5 seconds behind them in second was Eric Brown and Kirk Bearden, again, with 33.39 seconds. First place won $360/man and second took home $195/man. Points were given through 10th place for the buckle, and Kirk easily earned it with his first and second place. Every Tuesday night the NRS Training Center has practice for $20 from 6-7:30pm. Tuesday night’s #11 books open at 6:45, close at 7:30 and rope at 8pm. Buckle given away with 60+ teams.
