6/19 – Tuesday Night #11

Since many area ropers were not able to rope at home because of the recent rain, last night’s roping was almost double in size from last week. 123 teams filled the #11 roping. It paid out a total of $2,100 to 1st through 5th place, and a buckle to the high-point roper. Father/son combo, Kelly and Brice Swaffored won $320 for 1st with 27.62 seconds on three. Chris Eddy and Sam Baird were 2nd with 28.89 for $260. Armando Gonzalez and Jose Ordonez were third for $210. Brian Podzemny and Dustin Johnson were 4th with 30.34 seconds for $160. Brian Podzemny came in fifth again with his son Weston with 33.51 seconds for $100. Brian took home the buckle for points for hi 4th, 5th and 9th placing. Every Tuesday night the NRS Training Center has practice for $20 from 6-7:30pm. Tuesday night’s #11 books open at 6:45, close at 7:30 and rope at 8pm. Buckle given away with 60+ teams.
