9/16 Drew Horner: Uncoiled. Home for a bit.

I am finally home, but the season is not over.  It feels good and weird to be home. Good that I get to spend some time with family and get some good practice in, but weird because I’m not behind the wheel driving to the next rodeo for a couple days. I got two days home, then I leave Wednesday morning for the Champions Challenge in Amarillo, Tx. On Thursday morning, we are in the slack at the rodeo in Amarillo, then we load up and drive across Texas to Texarkana, Arkansas on Thursday night. From there, we have to drive back across Texas to Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday night. This is pretty much the last long weekend of rodeoing and driving we will have to do. We need to win some more and finish out the year in a good position. It’s not over yet!
I am taking these two days home to get practiced up for the last two weeks. I’m getting my horses ready and rested and scheduling out the next few months to get them taken care of and in top shape for the events they need to be ready for. I’m about to get saddled up and get on, so I got to go! Ill talk to ya later! DH
