Just outside of Gainesville, Texas, sits the enchanting Horseman’s Ranch. From custom built homes, rolling pastures, 10 miles of quiet trails, charming white fences and an NRS Signature Arena, the Horseman’s Ranch offers every amenity a horse lover could dream of.

Lane Holcomb is the grounds keeper at Horseman’s Ranch. His wife, Gay, and he had been searching for the perfect place to enjoy their horses for a while before discovering Horseman’s Ranch. “Everywhere we were looking it was going to require a two-hour drive just to buy a loaf of bread!” Lane shared about their difficulty to find exactly what they were looking for. Lane explained their appreciation for the fact that Horseman’s Ranch is only a few miles outside of Gainesville and about an hour from DFW area. “We just love how beautiful it is, but we still have easy access to nearby towns.”

Tommy Briscoe, realtor with Ebby Halliday Realtors, is the supervising realtor for Horseman’s Ranch. Briscoe grew up in the rodeo world and was a bareback rider for many years. His extensive knowledge of the horse world gives him an appropriate understanding of horse owners needs. “There is a little bit of everything up here – performance horses, rodeo competitors, and those who just love their 1,200 pound pets,” Briscoe explains when discussing who it is that chooses to live on Horseman’s Ranch. Briscoe is proud to be able to offer such a beautiful community built for horse lovers.

Horseman’s Ranch was developed in conjunction with NRS World to provide community for horse owners. Lots are sectioned into 5-10 acre tracts and paved roads connect properties to the community center and covered arena. Over 10 miles of trails will allow you to enjoy nature from horse back without ever loading a trailer. Proximity to towns, Winstar Casino, and Lake Texhoma are a few added benefits, but the community and lifestyle at the ranch are probably the most coveted characteristics. Of course, the best way to see what the ranch is all about is to see it first hand. So, in the words of Tommy Briscoe, “Bring your horses, your dogs and your family and stay two or three days to catch the flavor and experience the horse lover’s dream!”
